I moved back to Kenosha in 2007 after living primarily on the west coast for the last 40 years. It was easier to retire. As a matter of fact the county I was living in was so expensive it would have been impossible to retire. I am restoring an old house in my old neighborhood and learning photography. I am happy! Being a chiropractor was a hoot but it was also physically demanding and you can't take care of people forever. I am enjoying taking care of myself. However, living and hiking in Marin County (just north of SF) is not to be missed in one's lifetime.

I also got to live in Texas, Upstate NY, Turkiye, Oregon, Mexico, California, Iowa and back to California on the journey back to Wisconsin apparently.

I got a great education at St Joes and consider myself very fortunate to have had the kind sisters as my teachers.
I wish there had been more athletic emphasis for girls. I would have been on swim team, golf and track and let the boys cheer for their own teams :-) I had to make up for it later in life with small triathalons (1 mile swim, 20 mile bike, and 6 mile run), Tai Chi, Yoga and long, long bike rides. My best vacations usually involved a river and a kayak. Those river guides were pretty cool too. I always got a crush.
