2024 - Pauline (Capelli) McTernan '57

Pauline Capelli McTernan graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1957.  In 2002, she joined the staff of St. Joseph High School as Director of Development.  Pauline was instrumental in the creation of St. Joseph Catholic Academy in 2010. She was one of the initial founders of the St. Joseph Alumni Association in 2009, serving as the initial Treasurer of the organization. Pauline continued to serve as Liaison between the school and the association until her recent retirement in December 2023. She continues to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  Even before joining the St. Joe’s staff, Pauline was an ardent supporter of St. Joe’s while her children attended high school there.  Pauline went beyond the duties of her job and became an ambassador for St. Joe’s thru the years.  She was actively involved in various groups related to St. Joe’s, such as the parents organization, Spirit Committee, and Friends of the Performing Arts.  You could find her at all of the school activities, sporting events, and fund raisers.  Her mantra was to support the students and St. Joe’s in any way she could.
