Mission Statement (who we are)

The mission of the St. Joseph Alumni Association is to support the St. Joseph Catholic Academy (SJCA) in providing a quality Catholic education to its students.  We support keeping the Lancer spirit alive in all of our alumni; as well as in all SJCA students, parents, faculty, and staff.

Purpose Statement (what we do)

The St. Joseph Alumni Association provides support to the St. Joseph Catholic Academy (SJCA) and its alumni by:

• Providing scholarships to SJCA high school students
• Participating in SJCA fundraising events
• Providing funds for improvements to the SJCA facilities
• Preserving the history of SJCA and its predecessor schools
• Maintaining active communication with all alumni via the website, Facebook, email, and other social media
• Providing opportunities for alumni to connect via re-unions and other activities
• Encouraging alumni to financially support SJCA via its annual fund appeal and fundraising activities
• Working with SJCA to provide opportunities for career awareness mentoring of SJCA students
• Recognizing alumni who have excelled in their careers, community service, and support to SJCA

Values Statement (what we believe)

The St. Joseph Alumni Association believes in the following:

• The importance of a faith based education
• An education that prepares students for continuing their education beyond high school
• An education that gives students the knowledge and skills that will guide them in their careers, personal lives, and in becoming good citizens
• The value of students building and maintaining relationships that will last a lifetime
• Alumni members giving back via whatever means to their school, church, and community

Alumni Membership Statement

Membership in the St. Joseph Alumni Association is open to all graduates and any person who attended St. Mary’s High School, St. Joseph’s High School, or St. Joseph Catholic Academy.

St. Joseph Alumni Association relies heavily on our Lifetime Memberships for its finances.  The success of the Alumni Association depends on Alumni support and participation.
