Robert Bloner

Robert L. Bloner, 55, of Somers, died Wednesday January 24, 2001) at his home.  Born January 4, 1946, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Leonard J. and Stella M. (Smith) Bloner.  A life long resident of Somers, he attended local schools and graduated from St. Joseph High School.  He also received a degree in electrical, heating, and air conditioning from the Milwaukee school of Engineering. 

He served in the U.S. Army from 1964 to 1970.  On November 5, 1999, in Las Vegas, he married Alicemae E. Tobalsky. For 35 years he owned and operated Bloner, Heating, and Air Conditioning Sales and Service.

He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, where he was an usher.  He was also a member of the Southeast Council Better Business Bureau.  He was an avid fisherman.

Surviving are his wife; two stepsons, Douglas A. Hoffmann of Kenosha and Jody D. (Annette) Hoffmann of Plattville; and a brother, Lawrence A. Bloner of Racine.  Piasecki-Althaus Funeral Home, 3720 39th Ave., is in charge of arrangements.

William (Lee) Sawtell (Johnson) (1964)

I'm sorry to inform the person that wrote this.  Bob was not 55 years old.  Since I graduated with Bob and am also born in 1946.  I quickly determined that Bob was the same age I am soon to be 69.

If Bob was passing himself off as being only 55 great for him that he could do it.

Jolene Covelli (1964)

He was only 55 when he passed, it said he died a while ago not now. I remember him from grade school very nice and likeable
