Aaron Andrew Sepanski was born December 4, 1974 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Richard and Jae Sepanski. He grew up in Kenosha and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in 1993. After high school, Aaron attended University of Wisconsin Parkside graduating with a biology degree. While attending college and for several years after, Aaron enjoyed being a brew master. He had several successful recipes, but in Aaron’s words: “My greatest accomplishment in my brewing career, I feel, is not a particular batch I did, but that I got six other people to start.” That is how Aaron was not driven by his success, but by teaching and encouraging those around him.

He met Julienne Parsneau through mutual friends. Aaron thought his friends were setting the two of them up, Julie thought it was just friends getting together, but Aaron just started talking to Julie like they were old friends. They were married shortly after in 2000. They were blessed with five boys: Matt, Austin, Alexander, Carter, and Tate.

The family made their home in Kenosha where Aaron went into industrial chemical sales and in 2014, made their move to Ankeny, Iowa. He was currently working for BASF.

Aaron was a natural leader in all that he did. He was active in the churches he has belonged to and always jumped in with the building and grounds committee. He loved to help others repairing homes and loved taking his boys to teach them not only the carpentry skills, but how to be a good citizen in helping others. He was a remarkable father figure to his boys. While in Wisconsin, he noticed a lady in a wheelchair struggling to shovel her driveway. He went home, got his snow blower and boys, came back not only that day, but for several years until moving to Ankeny. He often thought of her and wished he could still be clearing her drive.

People will remember Aaron as confident, charismatic, and able to own the room. He was brilliant, yet fun, was quick to make friends, and was admired by all.

Aaron will be greatly missed by his wife, Julie; his boys: Matt, Austin, Alexander, Carter, and Tate; mother, Jae Lindemann; siblings: Matthew (Janetta) Sepanski and Corey (Anne) Sepanski; and his father and mother-in-law, Kathy and Jerry Parsneau.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard.
