On June 2, 2018, Kate quietly slipped away at Jacobs Medical Center, San Diego, Calf., after a courageous two year battle with cancer.

Kate was born in Kenosha, Wis., on February 26, 1972. She attended Saint Mark, Lincoln Jr High, and graduated from St. Joseph's High School, in 1990. She graduated from UCSD with a Bachelors degree in Theater Design.

Survivors include her husband, Shea McComb McAdams; sons Finn and Ike; father, Jerome Adamson; mother, Marion Downey; sister, Margo Adamson Sanchez; brother, Rich Adamson and his wife, Stephanie; brother, John Adamson; mother-in-law, Cindy McComb; niece and nephew, Brianna and Mikel Sanchez, and their father, Fidel Sanchez.

Kate was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Adamson; grandparents, Dr. Joseph and Lucille Adamson, Beatrice Downey and Norbert Downey; and father in law, William McComb.

Please join us in Celebrating Kate's life on Dec. 27, 2018, noon at Saint Marks Church, 1 p.m. at St James Cemetery, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at Kemper Center (in the Chemistry Lab & Study Hall).

We would ask you to bring one picture of you and Kate, or one of your family. Please put your name on the back. The pictures will be used for the friendship board in Kenosha and San Diego. Bring to the celebration or email to Adamsonbresch@gmail.com.

Kate requested in lieu of flowers, that you please donate to the college funds of her children.
