Rick was killed in a car accident on the morning of November 23,1983 up north.  It was the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  He was 25 years old and married for 11 months, no children.  Rick played baseball in high school and when he passed, his wife and a few of us set up a scholarship in Rick’s name at St. Joe’s.  To this day, they give out a $100 scholarship to an outgoing senior baseball player.  Rick was also involved in the softball scene in Kenosha after high school.  He was a great guy, taken way too soon.
