William George Bill Sturino, 58, of Kenosha, passed away at his home on Aug. 30, 2013. Bill was born Kenosha on March 31, 1955, the son of the late Serafino and Wanda (nee: Klus) Sturino. He was a graduate of St. Joseph High School, Kenosha Class of 72. Bill was employed initially at Gillmore School, and then transferred to Washington Park High School as a history and social science teacher for the past 12 years. For many years, Bill was a youth soccer coach and referee. In addition, he later became the boys and girls soccer coach at Park High School. Bill enjoyed playing drums and guitar, was a proud member of Black Watch Marching Band while attending high school and was an active member of The Racine Scouts Drum Corps. In his off time Bill enjoyed working in many capacities at the Corner House and Hobnob restaurants.

Bill is survived by one son, Anthony (Elie) Sturino of Milwaukee; three brothers, Mark Sturino of Hudson, Wis., Charles Chuck (Jan) Sturino of Kenosha and Paul (Jeri) Sturino of Waterford and sister-in-law, Leah Sturino of New Berlin. He is further survived by, aunts, SSND Mary Gilda Sturino of Elm Grove, Elizabeth Betty Cicchini of Kenosha, former wife, Niki Sturino of Kenosha, in addition to nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends and colleagues. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother, James and sister-in-law, Polly Sturino.

Funeral services will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral Home on Friday, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Bill will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at St. George Cemetery in Kenosha following services.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Bill in a special way may direct memorials to Washington Park High School Soccer Team.
