1954-2013 

Thomas (Tom) Greno, 59, formerly of Kenosha, passed away in Escondido, California on Oct. 30, 2013. 

Tom was born in Kenosha on February 6th, 1954, the son of Frank and Elsie Greno. As a child, Tom attended St. George Catholic School and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1972. Tom was employed at MacWhyte Co. in Kenosha until 1994. He pursued employment opportunities in Indiana, Florida and California before landing in his current sales position at American Rigging in San Diego. Tom was passionate about his work, was well respected and had close relationships with his fellow employees. Tom loved spending time and cared deeply about his wife. They enjoyed walking their dog Bruno, cooking and hanging out together. He also kept in close contact with his sons, from steak dinners to discussing the Charger and Packer games. Tom’s other love was his grandchildren. Their California trip was the highlight of his year and he always looked forward to talking to them about their lives and favorite things to do. 

Tom is survived by his wife, Michlyn McDermott; sons, Alex (Brook) Greno and Nathan Greno; grandchildren, Bella, Gianna and Jax Greno; mother, Elsie Greno; brother, Bill (Joyce) Greno; sister Jeanne (Steve) Pataska; along with other relatives and many dear friends in Wisconsin and California. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Greno; sister, Karen (Dale) Malsch; and step-son Joshua DeSantis. He will be greatly missed by all those who had the privilege and honor of knowing him.
