Denise Rausch, 63, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, March 25, 2017.
Born in Kenosha on August 25, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Bunichi) Greno.
On March 20, 1993, she married Gary Rausch. He preceded her in death on April 4, 2010.
Denise was a member of Journey Church. She was a member of the choir, and assisted making costumes for the church pageants. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and they were baptized in the Jordan River. She loved to cook, bake, sew, and work with her therapy dogs at churches, hospitals, rehab facilities, nursing, and funeral homes.
She is survived by her two sons, Dana Dean Gasser and Joseph Michael (Amanda Harris) Gasser; a grandson, Jake Gasser; and niece, Joli Greno.
Denise was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister (Judith Greno), and brother (Peter Pelsley).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 2nd, at Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private.
