Carolyn Decesaro

Carolyn Jo DeCesaro, 53, passed away at St. Mary's Medical Center in Racine from a short battle with cancer. Born on July 17, 1951, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Carmella L. (nee: Salerno) Fox and Alfred DeCesaro. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was a graduate of St. Joseph's High School and earned an associate degree in Court Reporting from Gateway Technical College. Carolyn worked at the Bartley House, Ron's Place and Ameritech. She was currently employed with CJW Incorporated as the Administrative Assistant to the President, since 1993. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church Ladies Auxilliary and past member of the Italian American Ladies Society. She was the President of the Northgate Condo Association for the past 10 years. Carolyn realized her lifelong dream of owning and riding her Harley as a member of the Kenosha HOG Chapter. Carolyn enjoyed life to the fullest with her close friends and family. She is survived by her mother, Carmella L. Fox of Kenosha; Father, Alfred (Doreen) DeCesaro of Kenosha; Two brothers, Frank (Sandra) DeCesaro of Racine, John Fox of Kenosha; Niece, Nancy DeCesaro of Racine; Nephew, Michael DeCesaro of Racine; Companion Greg Niles of Kenosha and "Sam the Dog". She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Frank & Caroline DeCesaro, maternal grandparents Peter & Josephine Salerno and Robert Kaleck, a special friend. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 18, 2005, from the Proko Funeral Home at 10:15 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at St. Peter's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home
