John Kappus - Class Of 1967

John Kappus

Jack C. KappusJack Kappus, 68, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his residence.

On May 31, 1994 he married Diane Clifford in Johnson City, TN.

Jack was reading the obituaries one morning and found his friend had passed away, it was
by far, the best obituary ever written, it fit us to a tee and it went like this:

From your not so ordinary wife to my not so ordinary husband: We loved, laughed and
argued, and boy could we argue. When you took your last breath, you took a part of me
with you that will never be filled again. I can only hope that all your family members who preceded you in death are there to welcome you so you are not alone.
Your love for golf sometimes outshined your skill, but every good golfer deserved at least one mulligan. I feel so honored and blessed to have loved and been loved by you over these past years.

You left behind your wife Diane, brother, Bob Kappus, two daughters, Courtney-Kappus Fonk (Larry) and Jill Kappus- Shaw ( Brad), four grandchildren, Kyle, Hannah, Molly, and baby Jack, two stepchildren, Todd Clifford ( Jackie) and Kym Pettavino (Victor), two step grandchildren, Jade and Victor.

Jack Graduated St. Joseph’s High School 1967
Attended Lacrosse State University
Worked at Kappus-Holsom Bread for 30 years
Enjoyed playing sports and watching the Wisconsin Badgers
He loved traveling to Tucson, Mexico, Daytona Beach, FL and New Orleans.

We will be celebrating you on Saturday, March 4th at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12:00 p.m. (Noon) until the time of service.
