Susan Mary Gresham, 71, formerly of Kenosha, passed away at Aurora at Home Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa on July 31, 2020.

Sue was born to the late Earl Zimdars and Verna Zimdars Kretschmer (nee Bestor) on October 26, 1948, in Kenosha. She attended St. Mark Grade School, St. Joseph High School and Kenosha Technical College

Sue was a long-time employee of Abbott Laboratories. She loved her job so much she worked until age 71 but was forced to retire earlier this year due to illness. Sue enjoyed traveling. She loved wildlife, especially cardinals and loved her dog, Sassy. In her younger days, Sue liked to run and play racquetball. She was a loving mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her children and grandchildren.

Sue will be desperately missed by her loving daughters: Amy Vallone and Julie Rano; grandchildren: Hannah, Ethan, and Nunzio; twin sister, Pat (Dean) Molinaro; nieces: Beth (Jeff) Urban and Lisa Molinaro Krohn; and her special dog, Sassy. Sue sends love to her many friends, especially childhood friends: Carole Allen Mick, Kathy Ruffalo Anderson, Patti Fortino, Jody Fuller Smith, and her cousin, Lynne Olle Jorgensen, along with many other relatives and friends.

Family and friends are invited to a time of visitation for Sue at the Wilson Funeral Home on Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, only 50 people will be allowed to enter the funeral home at a time. Guests may be required to wait outside until others leave the funeral home. Anyone planning on attending Sue’s visitation will also be required to wear a face covering/mask upon entering the funeral home along with following social distancing guidelines. Private entombment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. The family asks that memorials be directed in Sue’s name to Aurora at Home Zilber Family Hospice (1155 N Honey Creek Pkwy, Wauwatosa, WI 53213).

The family would like to extend a special thank you to The Froedtert Cancer Center and Dr. Bradley and his staff at the Courage Clinic for their care and concern. The family extends another special thank you to Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa for their fabulous care to help Sue peacefully join her family in heaven.
