Larsen of Whitewater; two stepsons, David and Michael Benicek; three stepdaughters, Suzanne VerBruggen, Kathleen Lloyd and Jody Schiavo, all of Kenosha; seven stepgrandchildren; a sister, Mary L. Starr of Kenosha; and a companion, Betty Benicek.

Louis C. "Bud" Larsen, 50, 6035 47th Ave., died Monday (Nov. 17, 1997) at his home. The son of the late Louis B. and Rosemary (Lusignan) Larsen, he was born on Dec. 3, 1946 in Kenosha. He attended St. Mark's Catholic School and graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1965. On Nov. 12, 1966, he married Mary Julius Garlow; they were married for 20 years. Before retiring due to ill health in October, he worked in the telephone division of Motorola, Inc. Previously, he worked as a parts handler for the Frost Company for 23 years and also was employed by Ranch Restaurants. Louie bowled in the Sunday Morning League at Sheridan Lanes, bowled for McKinney Prosthetics Company, and coached in the Optimists Club Little League for the Kenosha Professional Police Association. An Elvis Presley and Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoyed 3-D jigsaw puzzles, ceramic work and traveling. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri L. Larsen, in 1971.
