Virginia Mary "Ginny" Henning, 74 years old lifelong resident of Antioch, IL passed away peacefully at home. She was born November 23, 1946 in Oak Park, IL, the daughter of the late John J. "Jack" Sr. and Kathryn (nèe Bock) Wells. 1960 Graduate of St. Peter Catholic Grammar School and 1964 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School Kenosha, WI. Longtime parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church, Antioch, IL. Ginny worked many years at Baxter Healthcare after working at the State Bank of Antioch (now State Bank of the Lakes.)
She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Diane) Henning of Johnsburg, IL and Timothy (Gina) Henning of Genoa City, WI; her grandchildren, Michaela, MacKenzie, and Kyle; her brothers John "Jack" Wells, Jr and Timothy (Denise) Wells; her nieces and nephew, Keely Wells, Jason (Heather) Folbrick, Lori (Jack) Romine, Betsy (Darrell Duffek) Wells; great-nieces and nephews, Katy, Max, Olivia, Jackson, Timothy and Mary Grace; and lifelong friend, Norma Thompson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Terrence "Bird" Wells and her sister, Patricia Folbrick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 557 Lake St., Antioch, IL 60002 with interment in Mt.
