Anita Baumgarten, 56, of Kenosha, died Saturday (Jan. 18, 2003) at Kenosha Medical Center. Born March 26, 1946, she was the daughter of Louis and Anne (Giannini) Deitenbach. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, attending Holy Rosary Catholic School and graduating from St. Joseph High School. On Dec. 28, 1968, she married Alan R. Baumgarten at the Tomah Methodist Church in Tomah, Wis. She was employed with CMA Construction Co. for the last seven years. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, was involved with the Girl and Boy Scouts, PTO of Roosevelt Elementary School, and was active in the Kenosha Band Boosters , Orchestra Boosters, Golden Strings, and Band of the Blackwatch. She traveled extensively with her husband on their motorcycle. Her hobbies included going on cruises. Surviving are her husband; her mother, Anne Deitenbach of Kenosha; one son, Alan M. (Joel Laper) of Appleton, Wis.; one daughter, Amy (Michael Sr.) Pillizzi of Kenosha; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father.
