Susan A. (Pursell) Shuckhart

1945 - 2013

Susan A. (nee: Pursell) Shuckhart, 68, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, Friday, May 24, 2013, at Grande Prairie Health & Rehab.

She was born on Feb. 12, 1945, to the late Virgil and Fern (Hansche) Pursell in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from St. Joes High School in 1963.

Sue worked as a CNA for several nursing homes throughout Kenosha.

Sue was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was very involved with the church.

Sue enjoyed writing letters to the Voice of the People. She was very political and very patriotic.

Sue is survived by her loving sons, Brent Shuckhart of Kenosha and Jason (Dane LaJoye) Shuckhart of Lombard, Ill.; her brother, John (Karyn) Pursell of Kenosha and her nephew, Kevin Pursell.

She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney in infancy.

A Celebration of Life for Sue will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 10 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church (1803 83rd St.). Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
