Sharon Posselt, 70, of Kenosha passed away on Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at Sheridan Medical Complex.

Sharon was born on Dec. 14, 1943, the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Neumann) Posselt. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from St. Joseph's H.S. Sharon was employed as an inspector for a letterhead company for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and was a Eucharist Minister at St. Thomas and then St. Mary. Sharon was also a member of the church prayer group. Her hobbies included reading and spending time with her family and friends.

Sharon will be sadly missed by her sisters, Fay Posselt of Kenosha, Mary (David) Taske of Kenosha, Jane (David) Slobodianuk of Phoenix, Ariz., Donna (Jeff) Leanna of Kenosha; a niece, nine nephews, four great nieces, five great nephews; and her dear friend, Betty Lueck. In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Roloff, and a sister in infancy.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, 2014, at Kenosha Funeral Services from 5 p.m. 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church from 9:30 a.m. 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Alliance would be appreciated.

Sharon's family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Hull, Dr. Hwang, Hospice Alliance of Kenosha, and nurses and staff at Sheridan Medical Complex.
