Maryanne (nee Ruffolo) Otter passed away due to complications from Covid-19 on November 11, 2020 at the age of 76, and reunited in the arms of Jesus with her beloved late husband Donald. Devoted mom of Amber (Steve) Otter-Priem, Dana (Tony) Carini, Kateri (Doug) Knous, Alyssa (Mike Johanneck) Otter and David (Ellen) Otter. Proud grandma of Jaedra, Mia, Abe, Ryder, Luke and Cole. Cherished sister of Gerald (Sharon) Ruffolo and the late Rita (the late Jim) Adamson. Further survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins and many special friends.

Maryanne was a lifelong devout Catholic born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She graduated nursing school in 1965, and worked as a charge nurse at Saint Catherines in Kenosha. In 1967, she married her husband Donald Otter and celebrated 49 years together. They started their family in 1968 when their first daughter was born. Just as Maryanne had hoped, the family grew to five children with 4 girls and one boy. She was a dedicated mother to her family and everyone else who entered her life. Along with being a Girl Scout leader and Christian formation teacher, more recently, she also volunteered at the food pantry at Saint Boniface Church. When Maryanne was not helping others she spent time enjoying puzzles and gardening. Her family says she is the cleanest person they know and you could hear her humming as she scrubbed away. She was dearly loved and will be missed by many.

Services were held Tuesday November 17, 2020 at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home in Menomonee Falls, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held privately at St. Boniface Catholic Church by the family, with burial at the church cemetery.
