Judith Mary Zahn

CARY, NC - Judith Mary Zahn, 78, died Tuesday, May 25, 2021. She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on May 11, 1943 to Joseph and Mary Safago.

Judy attended St. Joseph High School in Kenosha and earned a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Old Dominion University. She worked at the Social Security Administration and Fidelity Investments. She was a faithful member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and traveling throughout the world. In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Zahn.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth and husband, David VanLone; her brother, Michael and wife, Lisa Safago; sons: James and wife, Dana Zahn, David Zahn, and Michael and wife, Michelle Zahn; daughter, Jennifer and husband, Scott Bartlett; grandchildren: Christopher Zahn, Karlie and husband, Elliott Thorne, and Connor Zahn.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Cary, NC starting at 10:30 a.m., with a service at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. Friends of the family are invited to stay for a light social lunch following the services.
