Gail Schmitz Kelly, 59, of Lockport, passed suddenly, Thanksgiving night. She worked as a registered nurse at Hinsdale Hospital for many years. Survived by her husband Tom; five children; and six grandchildren. Visitation from 3 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. Sunday, November 25, 2001, at the Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Gail and I were great friends at St. James and St joseph High School. My first date was to be our first highschool dance. I came down with some bug and had to stand her up despite her new dress. We remained friends during high school but lost contact after we went to college. I remember her fondly as a very fine person and am sorry she has passed to the other side.
