Robert G. Anderson

Robert G. Anderson, 81, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024, at Hospice Alliance House in Pleasant Prairie, WI. He was born in Kenosha, WI on January 17, 1943, the son of the late Robert H. and Eve (Fosbinder) Anderson.

He attended St. George Grade School and graduated from St. Joseph High School. From there, Robert went on to Rosary College, where he received his master’s degree.

On August 11, 1973, Robert married Karen Uhen at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Burlington, WI.

Robert served as the librarian at Dominican College (later known as the College of Racine) until it closed. He then rotated through the libraries of Kenosha Unified School District, mainly working at the Reuther Alternative High School campus until his retirement. He also taught cartooning at the Kenosha Public Museum.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; daughters, Jennifer Jungbluth and Sara (Matthew Gonya) Anderson; grandson, Myke; and a sister, Mary K. (the late Charles) Richards.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society (Kenosha Campus) or Shalom Center of Kenosha would be appreciated by the family.
