Donald F. Frederick



Donald F. Frederick a kind, gentle, generous and self-effacing man, Donald F. Frederick, 77, passed into eternal life on Nov. 24, 2014, after a brief illness. As a native of Paris, Wis. Donald was born into a farming legacy in his youth. Currently he was a resident of Fitchburg, Wis. outside of Madison.

He attended St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Grade School at Paris, St. Mary's High School in Kenosha and received his B.S. in Architectural Engineering from the University of Illinois at Champagne Urbana, Illinois. Upon completing his military obligation in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, he was employed by various architectural firms in Madison and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin.

His passions included fishing, skiing in his youth, gardening and playing with four neighboring children; Jose, Jacinta, Bella and his little "Sidekick" Bethoe.

Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Margaret Frederick, and a brother-in-law Robert J. Boivin. He is survived by his siblings: Norman (Pamela) Frederick, Joyce Boivin and Barbara (Paul) Jackson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews: David Frederick and Heidi (Phil) Erney, Nicholas Boivin, Robert and Kayte Jackson, cousins and close friends of the Carlos Angeles family.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, Dec. 2, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at the Polnasek-Daniels Family Funeral Home in Union Grove, Wis. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at 12:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Paris, with Rev Russ Arnett officiating. Interment will follow service at St. John the Baptist Cemetery.
