Patricia “Pat” Barber, age 79, of Kenosha, died on Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at The Addison of Pleasant Prairie, with her loving husband and family by her side.

A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was born on December 29, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Albert and Frances (Walauskis) Luckas. She attended local schools and was a 1955 graduate of St. Mary’s High School.

On September 22, 1956, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Floyd Barber. Recently, they were blessed to have celebrated 61 years of marriage.

She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. In her younger years she was employed with MacWhyte Wire Rope Company, St. Catherine’s Hospital and JoAnn Fabrics.

Pat was a faithful member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. She served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the St. Peter’s Altar Society, the Catholic Women’s Club, the Kenosha Woman’s Club and the Lithuanian Club.

She was a talented seamstress and liked to sew, knit, crochet and needlepoint. With her creative abilities, Pat made beautiful wedding dresses, Halloween costumes and suits. She was an avid Cubs and Packer fan.

Pat will be remembered by her loving husband, Floyd Barber; her five children, Robert (Linda Kaprelian) Barber, Bruce Barber, Donna (Daniel) Reindl, Jeffrey Barber and Kevin (Jennifer) Barber; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her brother, Albert (Mary) Luckas; and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Luckas.

Pat’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Heartland Hospice, The Addison of Pleasant Prairie and the many special caregivers they had over the years, for their caring devotion.
