Felicia Bette Blasi

Felicia Bette Blasi, 61, of Arlington, Kentucky, and formerly of Kenosha, Wis., passed away on Aug. 20, 2016, at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Felicia was born in Kenosha, Wis., to Mr. and Mrs. Ralph J. Blasi, Sr. (Donna Jane Barriger). She attended Kemper Hall and graduated from Tremper High School. She received her B.A. from UW-Parkside and her M.A. in English from Marquette University.

Felicia loved teaching and taught at UW-Parkside, Carthage College, St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wis., and Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis. Felicia was an avid writer and reader and a big fan of the Green Bay Packers and University of Kentucky Wildcats. She greatly enjoyed spending time with friends and family and had a quick wit and sense of humor that so many enjoyed. She was also an exceptional grandmother who doted on her grandchildren.

Felicia is survived by daughters Amanda (Brian) McCloud of League City, Tex., and Elizabeth (John) Hutcherson of St. Petersburg, Fla., sister Jeanne (Glynn) Grogan of Arlington, Ky., and brother Robert R. Blasi of Arlington, Ky., and four grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She is predeceased by her parents, brothers William A. Blasi and Ralph J. Blasi, Jr., and granddaughter Lindsay Leigh McCloud.

A memorial luncheon in celebration of Felicia's life will be held on Oct. 2, 2016, at noon at Casa Capri Restaurant in Kenosha, WI.
