Mary Beth Rozanas (Stevens) - Class Of 1982

Madison- Mary Beth Stevens, age 47, lost her fierce battle with cervical cancer early Monday. November 14th, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Mary Beth was born on March, 26th, 1964 in Elmhurst, Illinois the daughter of Walter Rozanas and Sonia Rozanas. She attended the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh, and went on to graduate with a Bachelors Degree in 1986. On Valentines Day 1986, she met Mark Stevens, her soul mate and husband of twenty four years. Mark immediately fell in love with her great personality and caring nature. They married May 23rd, 1987.
Mary Beth was the most caring, loving, and helping person in a lot of our lives. She would never put herself above anyone else's needs, and made any sacrifice to help other's situations. This would prove true until her last moments, remaining more concerned about her family than herself. Mary Beth's love of life was easy to see because her smile would light up the room. Whether it be boating, canoeing, or just taking a drive through the country, she loved nothing more than having the sun on her face and the wind in her hair. Mary Beth enjoyed traveling, frequenting Mexico yearly with friends and family. Her generosity was evident as Mary Beth and Mark made a habit of donating supplies to local schools on every trip. We will all miss her, but most of all we are sad about the things that she is going to miss on a daily basis.
