Susan Renee Cullen

1964 - 2015

 

 

On this day, Dec. 15, 2015, Susan Renee Cullen's sweet, gentle spirit winged straight into her heavenly Father's loving arms to everlasting rest.

Susan was born on Aug. 27, 1964, in Michigan, the daughter of William and Patricia Cullen. She was educated in the schools of Michigan and Kenosha, graduating from St. Joseph's H.S., attended UW-Parkside, and graduated from Carthage College; all aided her to fulfill desire to assist others in many ways.

Susan was employed at the Shalom Center for 16 years as a supervisor, which enabled her to utilize her degrees to the fullest. Susan was a member of the Light of Christ Church. She had deep love for her church, and was dedicated in sharing God and spreading Gods word with others.

Her hobbies included trips to Upper Michigan where she cherished the scenic beauty and the pleasure of hiking, boating, camping, walking, and enjoying the jaw-dropping glorious sunsets. It was here where she found time to read a good ministry, listen to music, and to bird songs. Susan found upper Michigan to be truly God's Country.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia LaFave of Kenosha; and many other special family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, William Cullen.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015, at The Light of Christ Church at St. Mary's Chapel at the Kemper Center, 6501 3rd Ave, Kenosha, WI 53143, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 12:30 p.m. Burial Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
