Obituary for Kim E. Corrigall

Kim E. Corrigall, 50, of Twin Lakes, passed away Sunday (May 1st, 2005) at St. Catherine's Hospital.
Born in Oshkosh, WI, on October 1, 1954, he was the son of Knox D. and Harriett J.
(Tomlitz) Corrigall. He attended St. Mark's Grade School and was a 1973 graduate of St. Joseph High School. He then received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in 1977.
On May 10, 1986 he was united in marriage with Karla B. Johnson.
Kim worked in the circulation department at the Kenosha News from 1973 until 2001. He then devoted his time to operating several cost-cutters Family Hair Salons in Walworth County, WI and Northern Illinois.
Kim was a kind and loving man. He was genuinely concerned about the well being of others. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid golfer and Green Bay Packer fan. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. He had a keen sense of humor which was enjoyed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife, Karla B. Corrigall of Twin Lakes; his mother, Harriett J. Corrigall of Kenosha; three brothers, his twin Kevin Corrigall of Kenosha, Knox D. Corrigall, Jr. of Kenosha, and Kyle R. Corrigall of Vero Beach, FL; a sister, Keli A. Corrigall of Kenosha; mother-in-law, Bethadel A. Johnson of Kenosha; and three brothers-in-law, James A. (Mary-Kim) Johnson of Kenosha, Michael J. (Jackie) Johnson of Paddock Lake, and Thomas P. Johnson of Kenosha. He is also survived by
15 nieces and nephews, many of whom he has mentored into adulthood.
He was preceded in death by his father, Knox D. Corrigall; his father-in-law, Karl A. Johnson; and a sister, Kerin S. Brown.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 6th, at St. John's Catholic Church, 701 N. Lake Ave., Twin Lakes. Private interment at Green Ridge. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Proko Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Twin Lakes Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O Box 964, Twin Lakes, WI 53181, would be appreciated.
