1946 - 2013 Janet Ann Gatti, 66, of Kenosha passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2013, at her residence with her family at her side. Born in Kenosha on Dec. 7, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John and Victoria (Pawlowski) Klemaseski. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a 1965 graduate of St. Josephs High School. On Feb. 14, 1976, she married Dennis J. Gatti at St. Anthonys Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on Nov. 23, 1999. For seven years she was employed by Bob Nelson DDS in Lake Forest, Ill. After her marriage, she worked with her husband, Dennis, at Gatti Boat Sales until the business was sold in 1984. In 1987 Dennis and Janet opened Gatti Electronics until 1992. They then were granted the license to operate Southport Marina for the city of Kenosha. After Dennis death in 1999, Janet operated the Marina until 2004. She then helped her sons at Gatti Development remodeling houses. Janet enjoyed going to her home in Naples, FL, traveling the world with her friends, working in the yard, working on other projects, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her three sons, Ryan, Christopher (Laura) and Jonathan Gatti all of Kenosha; a brother, John (Leslie) Klemens of Kenosha; her dogs, Sassy and Cee Cee; her cat, Tinker; and many friends. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 9, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice Alliance or Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family. Proko Funeral Home & Crematory
