Mr. Robert Lee Brehm, age 70, of Iola, formerly of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin died Tuesday, November 8th, 2011 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah. Robert was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on August 30, 1941, the son of the late LeRoy and Catherine (Petersen) Brehm.


After graduating from Saint Joseph's High School in Kenosha he served in the US Navy. He was a retiree of Tri-Clover in Kenosha. Robert was also a Paramedic with the Pleasant Prairie Fire & Rescue for 25 years. Robert was a very active volunteer for the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Boy Scout leader for Troop 544 of the Southeast Wisconsin council. He was the Shooting Sports Director at camp Robert S. Lyle and Camp Makajawan for many years and served on the staff at the National Boy Scouts of America Jamboree in 2001. Robert was most recently serving as the commissioner for the Bay Lakes Council, Iola Boy Scout Troop and Troop #101 in Racine. He was a Vigil Honor member of Mascoutens Lodge #8 and recipient of the Boy Scout of America Silver Beaver Award. Robert was the current President of the Iola Conservation Club and was a hunters safety instructor. He worked part-time at Kohl's Dept Store in Stevens Point and was very active in "Kohl's Cares for Kids" volunteer activities. Robert and Judy were volunteers for the Lutefisk Supper held annually at Northland Lutheran Church. When Robert wasn't voluntering he enjoyed fishing, hunting, boating, reading, gardening, and some carpentry.


He is survived by his 
Wife: Judy Maki of Iola; 
Step Son: Karl Maki of Eau Claire; 
Brother: Thomas (Mary) Brehm of Kenosha; 
Special Friend: Ryan LeMay of Eau Claire. 
He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Godchildren other relatives and friends.


Funeral Service will be held at Northland Lutheran Church, Iola, Wisconsin, at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 12th, with Reverend Dan Somers officiating. Visitation will be held Friday 4-7 PM. at Voie Funeral Home in Iola and on Saturday at the church from 9:30 AM till the time of service. Interment will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, Wisconsin. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
