Board member responsibilities

All board members must be a paid Lifetime members of the Association prior to becoming a board member.  Other than being a paid member of the Association, no other financial obligations are required, although you are encouraged to financially support the St. Joseph Catholic Academy whenever it is possible for you.

Officers of the Association are selected by the board, committee chairs are appointed by the Association president.

Board member responsibilities:

  1. Attend meetings of the board.  The board meets a minimum of four times per year.  Board meetings are conducted via Zoom, so living in or traveling to the Kenosha area is not required.
  2. Be willing to communicate with members of the Association and in particular with your graduating class to promote reunions, encourage participation in alumni activities and events, and encourage class members to become paid members of the Association.
  3. When possible, participate in Association or St. Joseph Catholic Academy activities and events.
  4. Promote St. Joseph Catholic Academy educational programs and fund raising.

Board members are elected to 3 year terms with no limit on the number of terms served.

One third of the board is elected each year.
