       Richard J. Chiappetta

Richard J. Chiappetta of Carmel, passed away on July 6, 2013. Rich was born April 3rd, 1944 in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Joseph and Ruth Chiappetta. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stout, where he met and then married his wife, Lila, on January 2, 1965. He is also survived by sons, Joe (Darcie), Jeff (Kim), daughter Cindy Barnett (Mike) and his siblings, Mike Chiappetta, Chris Thorsen (Ken) and JoEllen Anacker (Jack). He always loved and enjoyed time spent with his family and seven grandchildren: Kathryn, Cooper, Matthew, Nicholas, Samuel, Margaret, and Noah.

After 24 years with Analysts International Corporation (AIC), he retired in 2003. In retirement, Rich volunteered much of his time to the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Haiti Mission and the Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral Soup Kitchen.

Visitation and prayer service will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 14598 Oakridge Road, Carmel, on Thursday, July 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a prayer service starting at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, July 12th at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
