John W. Aiello

May 19, 1954 - February 2, 2022

John “Jai” Warren Aiello, 67, of Dallas, Texas passed away on February 2, 2022 in Dallas.  He was born on May 19, 1954 in Fairbanks, Alaska (Ladd AFB) to Dr. Victor Aiello DDS and Elizabeth (O’Hare) Aiello.  He graduated from Holy Rosary Grade School and St. Joseph High School Class of 1972.  While at St. Joseph he was active in athletics and was an integral member of the 1972 Boys WISAA State Championship Golf Team.  He attended UW-Parkside, School of Business and played on the Men’s Golf Team.

In 1979, he moved to Dallas where he resided until the time of his death.  He was employed as a jeweler for 30 years, primarily with Zales and R.H. Macy.  After his retirement he was a social media, SEO and Web Design consultant.

He is survived by his nine brothers and sisters, Thomas (Rosemary), Rachel, Martha, Mary, Richard (Kari), Jane (Jack) Coshun, Joan (David) Baugher, William (Kris Swift) and Peter (Susie).  He is further survived by 16 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and great nephews and 2 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Elizabeth; his paternal grandparents, Frank and Rachel Aiello; maternal grandparents, Warren and Lucille O’Hare; and all of his paternal and maternal aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank John’s Dallas “Deep Elum” friends, Pete Zotos, Michelle Maloney, and Carrie Smith who assisted and supported him during his courageous 18 month battle with cancer.

Service Location Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

A memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 2224 45th Street, Kenosha.

Inurnment will be held privately.

A gathering of relatives and friends will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church.
