BLUFFTON, SC - Jan Regnery, 81, of Bluffton, SC, passed away on September 26, 2023. She was born on November 4, 1941, in Racine, WI, to Clifford and Helen.

Jan was a loving, kindhearted, and caring woman who dedicated her life to being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cherished her family and was committed to the spiritual education of children.

Jan is survived by her husband, James A. Regnery, Sr.; her children: James A. Regnery, Jr. (spouse, Marcia), Theresa M. Heldt (spouse, Mark), Joseph A. Regnery (spouse, Jacqueline), and Rene L. Py (spouse, Danny). She was also a proud grandmother to: Lindsey McNeil (husband, Alex McNeil), Brady Heldt, Brendan Regnery, Kara Regnery, Alexander Regnery, Joelle Regnery, Daniel Py, Joshua Regnery, and Jack Py. Jan's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Briggs McNeil, and Cooper McNeil. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford, her mother, Helen, and her brother, William.

Jan pursued higher education at Cardinal Stritch University and Marquette University in Wisconsin. She had a fulfilling career as the Director of Religious Education for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, WI, Catholic Charities of Cleveland, OH, and the Archdiocese of St. Petersburg, FL. Jan's dedication to her work left a lasting impact on the communities she served. Jan found solace in her faith, she drew strength from her religious community, and found comfort in her spiritual journey.

In her free time, Jan enjoyed crafting and gardening. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and nurture the beauty around her.

Jan Regnery will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her loving nature, dedication, and kindness will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
