Joy Ann Fredericks

Joy Ann Fredericks, 65, of Crystal Falls, MI, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.

She was born December 23, 1955, in Racine, WI, the daughter of the late Ronald and Marlene (Becker) Fredericks. She has lived in Crystal Falls since the 1980’s. One of the many things Joy enjoyed doing was spending time with the Crystal Falls Lions Club; she held many positions through the years, volunteered for everything she could, and because of her dedication to the Lions Club, she was presented with the highest award that can be given to a member from Lions Club International Foundation: the “MELVIN JONES FELLOW Award" for dedicated humanitarian services. She will be missed by all. Joy also enjoyed hiking, camping, bowling, feeding the birds and deer, and she was a lover of animals, especially cats and dogs.

She is survived by her four brothers: John (Clara) of Kenosha, WI, Jeff (Joannie) of Crystal Falls, Jerry of Crystal Falls and Jay Fredericks of Gaastra; dear friend, Carol; and many nieces and nephews. Joy is preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Marlene Fredericks, and her brother, James Fredericks.

At the request of Joy’s family, services will be private.
