September 30, 1950 - April 22, 2022

Diane Bachar (nee. Chianelli), age 71, went to be with our Lord on April 22, 2022, with her loving family at her side.

She was born on September 30, 1950, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to parents, Frank C. Chianelli Jr. and Theresa M. Chianelli (nee. Santelli). On June 9, 1979, she married Thomas Bachar in Kenosha. Tom and Diane made their home in Union Grove, Wisconsin where they shared a life together for 41 years.

After high school at St. Josephs, she graduated from Gateway Technical College as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1969. Later she graduated as a Register Nurse. Diane loved being a nurse. She was loving, kind and empathetic to all those under her care. She spent her career as a nurse at Southern Wisconsin Center for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities. After 38 years of service for her patients and the State of Wisconsin, she retired.

Diane loved to have fun with family and friends. She shared countless memories with everyone, and they were always filled with laughter. She was a lovely lady with a huge generous heart. Her love language was giving gifts to everyone for any and no reason at all.

A simple gal, who loved a day at the mall and an afternoon of chatting over margaritas and nachos.

Diane will be dearly missed by many.

In addition to her husband Tom, she is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Theresa Chianelli, and her nephew Jimmy Chianelli.

Diane is survived by her siblings, Frank (Joan) Chianelli, James (Becky) Chianelli, and John (Daniel) Chianelli; brother-in-law, Ted (Sally) Bachar; niece, Jennifer Bertz, nephews Frank Chianelli IV, Joshua Chianelli, Steve (Keri) Bachar, Barrett and Adler Bayless, grandnephew, Luke Bertz, stepchildren, Christine Bachar, Will Bachar, and Julie (Dan) Bakes; many more nieces, nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by three soul sisters, Darlene Minor, Elaine Bloom and Jeannette Degroot

A special thank you from John on Diane’s behalf to the caregivers at Waterford Senior Living who made her feel at home for the last few years.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 28, 2022, from 10:30 - 11:00 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am. Private entombment at All Saints Cemetery.
