1946 - 2016

Lauren J. Aiello, 70, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2016, at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab Facility.

She was born May 7, 1946, in Kenosha to the late Venry L. and Josephine (Fumo) Aiello. She attended Saint James grade school and Saint Joseph High School, both in Kenosha. Lauren went on to attend the Dominican College, then received her Master's degree in Education from Cardinal Stritch University.

She taught grade school in Long Beach, Calif., and was later employed by the Milwaukee Public School System, where she worked for thirty years until her retirement. In 2006 she came back to Kenosha where she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed her retirement back home with her family and friends.

Lauren is survived by her two brothers, David (Janet) Aiello of Kenosha, Thomas (Pamela) Aiello of Delavan; three aunts, Sister Monica Fumo of the Milwaukee Sisters of Charity, Elizabeth Avent, Elvia Fumo; several cousins, nieces and nephews, Gina, Nick, Chris, Lori, Anthony, Jacob, and Cecili; and many great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 7, from 5:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
