Anita C. Heffron

1945 - 2013

Anita C. Heffron, 68, of Burlington, Wis., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at her home after a long illness.

Anita was born Nov. 21, 1945, in Kenosha, Wis., to Theodore and Ella (Reuter) Schulte. She was united in marriage to Lynn W. Heffron on May 27, 1967. She began her working career at Kenosha Regional Airport. Soon after marriage, she and her husband owned and operated two restaurants. After being widowed early, Anita devoted her life to raising her four children who will forever remember her as a true gem.

Surviving are her children, Hilarie (John) Vail of Dubuque, Ia., Heather (Brett) Martinsen of Union Grove, Wis., Lynn (Michelle) Heffron of New Berlin, Wis., and Hedy (Brad) Durbin of Lyons, Wis.; her grandchildren, Victoria, Emily, Nathan, Nicholas, Joseph, Hunter, Charley and her sister, Sharon (Steve) DeLance of Elgin, Ill., Also surviving are her Aunt Teddy Bloch; niece, Lisa Litle and cousin, Sue Stengert.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, parents, her sister, Rita Lund and her brother, Ted Schilte.

The family would like to thank Dr. Joe Majewski and staff, Dr. Haider and staff and Hospice nurse, Shelly.

As per Anitas wishes, a private family service will be held.
