I just got an email informing us that Sr. Ruth LaMothe passed away at 12:30 this morning. Funeral arrangements are pending. Ruth, was also known as Sr. Orata, French teacher at St. Joes for several years., always In home room 105. She was 99 years old.
She was by far my favorite teacher. I remember when she took a bunch of us to Chicago to eat at a French restaurant. I miss her terribly. She was my Savior.
