Anne (Schumacher) Swaim, 58, lost her battle with cancer on Tuesday, Sept 16, 2014, at the Denver Hospice Center, with her loving family at her side. 

Born in Milwaukee, Wis., on July 3, 1956, Anne was the daughter of Al and Diane Schumacher. She was raised and educated in Milwaukee and Kenosha, graduating from St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, Wis., in 1974, before moving to Denver Colo., in 1984. 

Anne met the love of her life, Randy Swaim, in 1994 and they married on March 19, 1999. For years, Anne and Randy delivered Meals on Wheels to those in need. They enjoyed walking in Denvers Cherry Creek State Park, camping in the mountains, traveling to every island in Hawaii, and spending time with their children and extended family.

Anne spent most of her adult life as a Mary Kay Cosmetic Consultant, and worked in Denvers School Lunch Program. She felt so strongly about the importance of childrens nutritional diet that, at the age of 50, Anne returned to college for a degree as a Registered Dietician. In 2010, she graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, and attained her Dietetic Internship at Iowa State University. Anne was employed at the State of Colorados Denver Health. There she was a WIC (Women & Infant Children) Consultant, with expertise in prenatal and early childhood care. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Anne is survived by her loving children, Bryan Roscioli of Sterling, Va., and Tony Roscioli of Broomfield, Colo., three stepchildren, Jason (Ifeta) Swaim, of Azle, Tex., Ashley (Keith) Steele of Poolville, Tex., and Sarah (James) Martin of Springtown, Tex.; four brothers, Mike Schumacher of Kenosha, Gary (Vickie) Schumacher of League City, Tex., Mark (Mary Ellen) Schumacher of Spring, Tex., Jim (Mary) Schumacher of Gibsonia, Penn.; three sisters, Sue (Mark) Stegbauer of Hartford, Wis., Mary Kay (Jonny) Sherman of Sante Fe, NM, Teresa (Javi) Villanueva of San Antonio, Tex., 20 nieces and nephews, and six grandchildren.
