Obituary:

Charles ?Chuck? M. Karabetsos, age 51, of Sonoma, CA, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2007, at the University of San Francisco Medical Center, following a long courageous battle with illness. Born on August 14, 1955, in Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Jack and Margaret (Chromcik) Karabetsos. Educationally, Chuck attended local schools and was a graduate of St. Joseph?s High School. In high school, he was active and enjoyed being on stage in several theater productions. He also attended U.W.-Madison. For 20 years, Chuck was in the banking industry accepting positions that led him to both Chicago and California. He was very instrumental and proud of his expertise and brought in new computer programs to the work place. He enjoyed listening to music, watching television and attending concerts. Always devoted to his family, Chuck thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with them especially during the holidays when he would share his favorite Greek food with them. Above all, he especially enjoyed the time he spent with his father who he was very close to. When he lived in Chicago, Chuck would try to take road trips to Kenosha and California to visit his family and friends. Chuck leaves behind a very loving family to remember him: two brothers, George (Sherrie) Karabetsos of Kenosha and John (Shauna) Karabetsos of Cheyenne, WY; two sisters, Judy (Tom) Thornton of San Diego, CA and Kathleen Karabetsos of Racine; several nieces and nephews, John Charles, Tracy, Nicole, Jakelyn, Brianne, Michelle, Josh and Jordan; and great-nieces and nephews, Bailey, Nick, Nate, Jackson, Miles, Noah, Logan, Gage, Sophia and Marcellus.
