Diane Lawler Schoolman died of breast cancer August 27, 2009

Diane was born August 8, 1950 to Robert and Nancy (Smith) Lawler. She lived in Indiana moving to Kenosha in 1959 and was the oldest of seven siblings to follow. She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1968 and graduated from UW Parkside. 

Diane moved to Bayfield, WI. where she met Curt Schoolman. She married Curt and lived in Eagle River, WI. where she owned her own business and had a weekly segment on the local radio station. She lived there for a number of years and later divorced. 

First and foremost Diane was a free thinker. She was a poet and an artist. Diane loved playing the guitar and singing. She had a keen sense of humor. Diane was adventurous and very courageous. She touched the lives of all who were privileged enough to know her. She died of cancer on August 27, 2009 at the age of 59
