Timothy J. "Tim" Monteen, 52, a Naperville resident for 23 years, died Monday, March 5, 2001, at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria. He was born May 29, 1948, in Kenosha, Wis.

A graduate of St. Joseph High School in Kenosha, he attended St. Norbert's College in DePere, Wis., where he played basketball for three years.

He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee with a degree in civil engineering.

He worked for the federal government for 30 years, 27 of them with the Army Corps of Engineers.
