Susan M. Spice, 61, of Beach Park, IL, died Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at Vista East Medical Center, Waukegan, IL. She was born on Dec. 16, 1946 in Kenosha, WI, the daughter of the late Leon and Mae (Batten) Robillard. She was educated in the grade schools of Pleasant Prairie, graduating from St. Joseph's High School. She served in the U.S. Marines and was trained as an Air Traffic Controller. She married James R. Spice on Feb. 25, 1989 in Kenosha. She worked for Lake County, IL as a Circuit Court Clerk. She enjoyed flower gardening. Special thanks to Drs. Paxton, Dunlop and Metha and Vista East Medical Center, especially the nurses and staff of 4-East for their expert care and support in this time.
