Obituary for William James "Bill" Principe

William James “Bill” Principe, 71, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at Froedtert South-St. Catherine’s Medical Center Campus.
Born in Kenosha, on January 26, 1947, he was the son of Michael and Mary (Calabresa) Principe. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools.
Following high school, Bill joined the US Marine Corps and served proudly from 1966-1970 and was honorably discharged.
On April 16, 1988, he married Lonise Fullington.
Bill owned and operated his own plumbing business, Michael Principe Plumbing, until his retirement in 2016. He was a member of the Italian American Society and had many hobbies, including wine making, stained glass art, and gardening.
Survivors include his wife, Lonise; his six children, Kathryn Johnson, William (Julie) Principe, Andrew (Heather) Moore, Amy Principe, Lonnie Moore, and Sarah (Cory) Beaulieu; six grandchildren, Maggie and Luis “Tito” Alatriste, Reilly, Isabella, and Michael Principe, and Marlee Beaulieu; one great-grandchild, Giovanni; and two brothers, Mike (Louise) and Terrence Principe.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister-in-law, Linda Ficcardi.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 27th, at Proko Funeral Home, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. followed by full military honors. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Vietnam Veterans of America would be appreciated by the family.
