Michael S Hughes

RAYMOND - Michael S. Hughes, 69, passed away at home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer. Mike was born in Kenosha on July 4, 1946 to Robert and Helen (nee, Flatley) Hughes. On May 6, 1967 Mike married the former Mary Ann Verwey.

He retired from Ameritech after more than 30 years. Mike loved golfing, fishing and spending time at his place in Adams-Friendship.

Mike is survived by his wife Mary Ann of 49yrs, children Scott (Laura), Kevin and Kristin Hughes; Grandchildren,Kristopher, Shawn, Tyler, Sydney, Dylan, Kasey, and Kylee. Mike is also survived by his brother Dan (Julie) Hughes, sister Amber Reinke, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and a special Godson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a very special niece Rochelle Reinke. In keeping with Mike's wishes a private family service will be held. Memorials may be directed to the family to help with medical expenses.
