Obituary for Jim Hebert

Jim Hebert, age 70, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin and graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1965. He was a proud U.S. Marine Corp veteran where he served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War. He was in the office products industry for over 45 years and worked for B.A.T in Zion, Illinois until he moved to Jackson, Mississippi to run National Purchasing Association. In 1998 he founded Office Partners, Inc. in Birmingham, Alabama where he was known for his high integrity and passion for success for the independent office products dealer. He was true “Friend of the Vendor”. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bernice Hebert and his brother, Michael Hebert.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 48 years, Diane Hebert; daughter, Lisa McEntyre (Kevin) and son, Matthew Hebert (Bobbi); granddaughter, Raegan Hebert; brothers, Tim Hebert (Vicki) and Joe Hebert (Laura); “his” cat, Morgan and several nieces, nephew and extended family.
Memorial service will be on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Children’s of Alabama Hospital, with “Fishin’ 4 A Cure” notated in the memo section in memory of Jim Hebert at Children’s of Alabama Foundation, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35233.

Steven Pataska (1965)

RIP Jim, it's been many a year since we went through St. Mark's and St. Joe's.  Unfortuneatly we lose track of our friends over the years.
