Woody Wutzen, age 62, passed away July 8, 2008 at home in Everson after a 2 year battle with esophageal cancer. He was born Sept. 19, 1945 in Kenosha, WI. Woody served in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam War. He married Nancy Zurline on May 3, 1975 in Bellingham. He worked for Continental Airlines in Seattle until they moved to Bellingham and started Northwest Kennels in 1989. He enjoyed flying, sailing, collecting trains, woodworking, riding Harleys, and was a member of the Bellingham Gun Club. Woody is survived by wife Nancy, parents-in-law Moose (Vi) Zurline, brother-in-law Frank (Christine) Zurline and niece Abby Zurline. A Celebration of Woody's Life with full military honors will be held at Westford Funeral Home on Wed. July 16th at 12 Noon followed by a reception across the street at Westford's Broadway Hall.
