Obituary:

Diane M. Koprovic, age 69, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Hospice House with her family by her side.

Born on June 23, 1944 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Edmund and Monica (Szarfinski) Blank.  A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended local schools and was a 1962 graduate of St. Joseph High School.

On October 24, 1964 at St. Thomas Acquinas Catholic Church, she was united in marriage to Donald Koprovic.  They were blessed with two children and 48 years of marriage.

Diane will be remembered by many as the friendly face they saw at the Meat Counter for almost 25 years at Sentry Foods/Super Saver, retiring in 2003.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In her earlier years, she enjoyed traveling, camping and bowling.  Diane was proud of her doll collection and loved to search for unique items at Antique shops.    She had a love of animals, especially for her dog, "Cubby".  Diane cherished the time she spent with her family and grandchildren.   She loved family get-togethers and card games with her grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Donald; their two children, Kristine (Leo) Cucunato and Kevin Koprovic and her five grandchildren, Monica, Vito, Karson, Kollin and Keegan.  She is further survived by her brother, Thomas Blank.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Malik Bandealy, his P.A., Michelle, nurses, Sally and Marsha and all of his medical staff for the extraordinary care they gave to Diane.
