James R. Schmitz

1943 - 2019

James R. Schmitz, 75, of Kenosha passed away Wed. Feb. 13, 2019, at Crossroads Care Center. 

James was born on April 30, 1943, in Kenosha the son of the late Roger and Gloria (Greenwald) Schmitz.

He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from St. Joseph High School. James married

Louise Mayer on April 29, 1972 in Kenosha. James worked at A.M.C.- Chrysler for over 30 years as a security guard. He was a member of the National Guard. His hobbies were fishing, woodworking, and he was an avid Packer and Cub fan.

James is survived by his wife, Louise; two children, Debbie Schmitz, and Joe (Cathy) Schmitz, and three grandchildren, Marissa, Madelyn and Myla. He was preceded in death by a son, Andrew.
